What Is cavitation?

It is a relatively new aesthetic treatment using cutting edge technology of ultrasound delivered using the 3D ultimate pro. Cavitation is a weight-loss treatment where our therapists use ultrasound waves to burst fat cells, which result in lost inches on the treated areas and slimmer figure.

It causes an emulsification of fat, converting fat into a substance that can be eliminated through the lymphatic systems. So putting it in simple words; cavitation is a simple procedure that relies on Ultrasound waves to flush fat from the body instead of intensive surgery.

It has been growing in popularity over the last few years because this procedure is less invasive than traditional Liposuction and can be easily done in as little as 10 minutes without any down time.cavitation before and after at olive beauty & aesthetics in milton keynes

Is this procedure invasive?

No.

Is there any downtime?

No.

Does cavitation work?

Yes, but results may vary! Depending on your individual health history and body type, you may slim down more or less dramatically or have longer or shorter-lasting results than others.

Is it possible to lose weight with Cavitation?

Cavitation is NOT a method to lose weight but rather to shape the body. IT IS NOT FOR HIGHLY OBESE INDIVIDUALS.

The treatment is used to reduce stubborn fatty pockets that just won’t go away with diet and exercise. Your therapist will be able to advise on the best treatment to get you the results you want.

How does cavitation work?

The treatment works on the principle of low frequency. Ultrasounds are elastic waves that are not audible to people (above 20,000Hz). During your cavitation appointment, non-invasive machines target specific body areas with Ultra sound waves and in some cases, light suction.

It uses ultrasound, without any surgical operations needed, to efficiently transmit an energy signal through your skin disrupting adipose tissue. This process heats and vibrates the layers of fat deposits below the skin’s surface. The heat and vibration eventually causes the fat cells to liquefy and release their contents into your lymphatic system.

Is Cavitation a safe treatment?

It is a nonsurgical procedure without anesthesia, it is non-invasive (no cutting, leaves no scars) and it allows for a full social life both before and after the sessions. This procedure is totally safe.

How much does Cavitation cost?

Prices start from just £20 per week for 8 weeks. For more information please look at our prices tab above.

How many treatments do I need? How often should I be treated to see results?

cavitation at olive beauty in milton keynes

A single body part treatment lasts 10–60 minutes. 4-7 days must pass between each session for your body to eliminate the fat. Generally most of our clients start to see a difference in as little as 3 treatments. Some of our clients start with a Fat Freeze as this has shown results can double on completion of the cavitation course.

Often you’ll see results after the first session. However, between 8 and 10 sessions are needed for optimum results. The exact number of treatments will vary due to factors such as age, weight, and the area being treated.

How long does the result of cavitation last?

It does not destroy fat cells. You can achieve “volume reduction” of fatty tissues and “toning of the body.”

This treatment uses cavitation technology (ultrasound) to attack fat deposits that refuse to shed off despite dieting and regular exercising. It makes the fat cells release their contents, which means the cells are capable of storing fat again. The results are gradual over a number of weeks as your body clears the broken-down fatty tissues. It is not uncommon to achieve up to a 10 cm reduction by the end of your treatment course.

The results can be long-lasting provided you follow a healthy diet and exercise program. However it is very easy to deposit fat again into the tissues if you overeat, consume too much alcohol, or don’t exercise.

Ultimately the result may vary depending on your tissue structure, treatment area, age, metabolism, medication, and changes in hormones.
