IS 3-D HIFU FACE SURGERY?
No. 3D-Hifu is focussed on the skin and the support layer below it, without cutting or damaging the surface of the skin.
CAN 3D-HIFU REPLACE A FACELIFT?
Although 3D-HIFU is uplifting, it is not a surgical facelift. Whilst our procedure will not be as drastic as surgical intervention, it is an inviting alternative to those who are not ready for surgery.
IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?
There is no downtime and you will be able to return to normal activities immediately. There is no special aftercare. We advise that you drink plenty of water and avoid heat post treatment.
WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE DURING TREATMENT?
You will feel tiny amounts of concentrated energy being delivered below the surface of the skin. Some clients report discomfort, but it is short lived and a good sign collagen restructuring has started.
HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE REQUIRED?
It is a one off treatment with a top up every year. some clients who wish for a more prominent effect choose to have a second treatment at 12 weeks. However you must then wait a further 12 months before another treatment can be performed.
WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
3D-HIFU addresses any area with mild to moderate skin laxity. It can lift brows, reducing excessive skin on the eyelids. It’s also highly effective on the jawline and under chin area.
WHO CAN HAVE TREATMENT?
Someone with skin that has relaxed to the point of, or often feeling less firm. typically those in their thirties and older who have mild to moderate skin laxity are good candidates.
HOW LONG DOES TREATMENT TAKE?
Full face and neck takes approximately 75 minutes. Your therapist will be on hand throughout so it doesn’t feel very long!
HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE RESULTS?
Clients may witness an initial effect, but the ultimate lifting and firming will take place over 2-3 months as collagen is renewed and replaced. This collagen building process continues so improvement can appear up to 6 month post treatment.
HOW LONG DO 3D-HIFU RESULTS LAST?
The firming benefits last over a year, however the skin will continue to age. Yearly touch-up treatments with our therapists are recommended to combat the aging process.
